HERB'S COINS — SHIPPING POLICY

This policy applies to all online orders placed through this store and should be read alongside our Terms of Sale.

How We Ship

All shipped orders are sent fully insured through USPS Registered Mail, with a signature required upon delivery.

Registered Mail is the standard method used across the precious metals industry because it provides documented chain-of-custody handling from the moment a package leaves our hands until it is signed for. We do not use standard FedEx or UPS service for these shipments.

Packages are shipped discreetly, with no indication of contents on the exterior.

Delivery Timing

Please allow approximately one to two weeks for delivery after your payment has cleared.

Registered Mail moves more slowly than ordinary Priority Mail because of the additional security handling at each step. Orders paid by personal check do not ship until the check has fully cleared our bank, which may take up to ten business days from receipt.

Shipping Rates

Shipping and handling is calculated automatically at checkout based on your order subtotal:

• Up to $500.00: $35.00
• $500.01 to $2,000.00: $50.00
• $2,000.01 to $5,000.00: $75.00
• $5,000.01 to $15,000.00: $125.00
• $15,000.01 to $25,000.00: $175.00

These rates cover USPS Registered Mail postage, declared value insurance, and secure packaging. They are set to cover our actual cost of shipping, not as a source of profit.

Where We Ship

We ship to all 50 U.S. states and Washington, D.C.

We do not ship to U.S. territories, to APO, FPO, or DPO addresses, or to international destinations.

Risk of Loss and Insurance

Risk of loss passes to you once the carrier confirms delivery to the address provided on your order. We are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage occurring after confirmed delivery.

Insurance coverage is void if you instruct the carrier to leave a package without obtaining a signature, ask that someone other than the named recipient sign for the package, or direct delivery to a third-party mailbox or locker location. In those cases you assume all risk associated with that instruction.

In-Store Pickup

In-store pickup is available at no charge at our Port Charlotte location. Orders are typically ready within 24 hours.

Please bring a photo ID matching the name on your order.
